I live in Canada (And damn proud of it), so hench radar detectors are illegal. i was wondering, is it possible to dismantle the detecor and re-assemble it to hide it? *My idea*
i was thinking of placing the radar sensor in the upper left hand corner of the wind sheild so its not visible. and then run the wires down the a-pillar to the unit hidden in the dash. Have a toggle switch to turn it on and off and have the display behind a piece of tinted plastic. so when the unit is off but when its on you can see the lights through the tint (i was thinking of using Val.1 for this). am i the firsh to think of this? or am i just dreaming? thanks for you input!
